Gulf Air announced the launch of regular services to three new destinations: the Holy City of Medina in Saudi Arabia, Alexandria in Egypt and Aleppo in Syria. From this month, these cities will become permanent additions to its network. While in the past the airline has operated flights to Alexandria and Aleppo as part of its summer schedule, the airline has never flown to Medina before.

Oman Air conducted a Regional Sales Review Meeting in Salalah for the Gulf, Middle East, and the Asia Pacific regions. This followed the first meeting that was held earlier during the month of January in which all Country and Sales Managers were briefed on the Sales Strategy for 2010.

Emirates will visit Abu Dhabi this week in a bid to recruit additional cabin crew to help service the company’s rapidly expanding fleet and route network.
